Geer Services, Inc. is proud to have worked on the decorative artwork for the newly painted USS Orleck. Our team worked to vectorize the ribbon panels, call sign flags, and the Destroyer Squadron (DesRon) 3 patch. The graphics were recreated from old photos and files suitable for large format printing for the ship.

The art was then printed on UV Resistant, MaxMetal material by Jax Color and prepped for transport to Texas by Craig Bernat, Treasurer and Executive Board Member of the Jacksonville Naval Museum. The artwork was then installed on the ship by the excellent crew handling the restoration.

It was recently installed on the freshly painted ship and looks outstanding. The Geer Services Team is looking forward to seeing the USS Orleck arrive in Jacksonville very soon and to get an up-close look.

Pat and Richard Geer are true Air Force Veterans but are quickly learning more about the rich Naval history in Jacksonville and about the ships and aircraft that have been used throughout history. We are proud to be a part of the rich military tradition of Jacksonville.
