Meet the Geer Services Team

Mr. Geer founded Geer Services in 2003 and currently serves as President and Chairman. Pat has 25 years Information Technology (IT) experience including 15 years in the Geographic Information System (GIS) field. Prior to Geer Services, Mr. Geer worked 35 years for BellSouth Telecommunications and is credited for the development of the Landbase Management module of the Outside Plant Engineering Design System (OPEDS). In addition, he was responsible for the development of Intranet GIS and the Landbase Editing component. Pat established the Regional Landbase Administration Center (RLAC) to perform updates to BellSouth Corporate Landbase. Mr. Geer also developed a corporate system to support the key business activity associated with return on assets. He established and led the organization to provide web enabled enterprise performance management, asset management and decision support applications. Mr. Geer is a co-inventor of Patent 7,146,326 entitled "System and Method for Outside Plant Construction Pit Scheduling Tool and Log". Pat retired from BellSouth after 35 years and also retired from the Florida Air National Guard after serving 31 years. |

Mr. Richard Geer was elected an officer of Geer Services in 2004 and currently serves as Executive Vice President for the corporation. In this position Richard provides creative direction for our graphic design services and is responsible for our web design and web hosting services for our external customers and the Geer Services corporate presence. He designed the Geer Services logo, consisting of the circle g and three sub circles, that is now a Geer Services, Inc. registered trademark. Prior to Geer Service, Mr. Geer served in the Florida Air National Guard in an active duty position providing Computer Graphic services to support the counter drug program in northeast Florida. In that position, Richard provided graphic design, web development and Geographic Information System (GIS) software support for spatial data analysis. Richard retired from the Florida Air National Guard after 20 serving years. Mr. Geer holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University. Richard was awarded the Distinguished Honor Graduate of the Defense Information School's Graphics Course in 2000. Then Tsgt. Geer won the first place award in a National Guard Media Contest for his 60th Anniversary of the Air Force cover for the Eagle’s Eye publication awarded by the National Guard Bureau in Washington DC in 2007. Richard has attended portrait and realism classes taught by Dru Blair to expand his artistic skills and is an avid drummer and records digital drum tracks with musicians via the internet. |

Mr. Santos was elected to the Geer Services Board of Directors in 2006 and currently serves as Vice President of Technology for the company. In this position Mr. Santos provides the strategic direction for customer and internal applications. Prior to Geer Services, Mr. Santos performed IT consulting work in South America, Australia and the United States providing services to hospital, rail road, data management, system integration and telecommunications companies. Mr. Santos was a key developer on the BellSouth OPEDS project and collaborated with some of the most talented developers from ESRI. His knowledge of Oracle database products and experience with various spatial database products helped BellSouth implement one of the most successful enterprise GIS applications in the United States. Most recently served as the lead developer for an enterprise performance management, asset management and decision support system at BellSouth. Mr. Santos holds a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Catholic Pontifical University of Rio Grande do Sul - RS, Brazil, a Masters in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University and is near completion of his PhD in Computer Science at Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Santos is fluent in English and Portuguese, and also speaks Spanish. |

Mr. Andrews joined Geer Services in 2008, initially as an intern. Since then, Keith was promoted to the position of Web Developer, and plays a key role in the development and maintenance of all website accounts. A naturally talented web developer and designer, Keith develops back end systems to provide the functionality required by our clients. Andrews was born and raised here in Jacksonville, FL, and is an avid sports fan. During Jags season, you will find him every home game, and even tailgating with the Geer guys. Keith will be working toward the completion of his degree in computer science at Florida State College of Jacksonville. |
Ms. Churchill joined Geer Services in 2011 as a Web Designer and Social Media consultant. Originally from Ocala, Nina moved to Jacksonville where she worked in the hospitality industry and developed her print and on-line marketing skills. Nina is a great addition to our group by adding a new dimension to our design staff whether for social media, web, e-mail or print marketing. |
